Around the World Postcards (DIY)

Recently, I read Around the World in Eighty Days, a classic novel written by Jules Verne.  It left me with the overwhelming desire to hop on a train or ship and travel the world like the wealthy Mr. Fogg.  Since I can't exactly do that, I have to settle for seeing all of the interesting places close to home.

Eraser Rings (Inspired by Good Books)

After my post about needing to read a good book, I finished three in the last few weeks:

*Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson (this is a good one, but horribly depressing)
*Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley (# 53 on my list)
*The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry

Little Women Pencils

Last month, I finished another book from my list: Little Women.  My very favorite of the March sisters was Jo.  I loved her strong will and courage to speak her mind.
