Not only do I see them in high-end catalogs and stores, but the inspiration is everywhere - even the thrift store!  This DIY is easy and very affordable!

Edible Candy Terrarium (DIY)

Long, long ago when I a tiny kindergartner, my class took a very exciting field trip to the chocolate factory.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go because by baby brother was born that day (who, ironically, was named Charlie).  True story.  I've always felt a bit jaded about missing that trip - especially a year later when I read Roald Dahl's Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  My very favorite part of the book was the edible room full of candy flowers and mushrooms and grass.  This little treat was inspired by that wonderful image.  As a six year old child, I dreamed about visiting that room.

Fairy Tale Terrarium Centerpiece (DIY) ~Woodland Wedding~

This woodland centerpiece would be perfect for an enchanted story book wedding reception. When I think of fairy tales, I imagine Hansel and Gretel in the woods or Snow White singing to her forest animal friends.

Mini Terrarium (DIY)

Over the years, I've been lucky enough to work in a few different greenhouses.

Spending my day in the fresh, calming atmosphere was so revitalizing, like a private little place just for me.  These mini terrariums are 1.2" to 1.6", the perfect size to add to your own doll sized greenhouse.
