I love working from home, but the majority of my time is spent in baggy sweat pants with my hands coated in splatters of acrylic paint and my hair piled on top of my head in a frizzy bird's nest.

Button Headband (DIY)
Last weekend I spent an afternoon by the pool with two of my very favorite girls. We worked together several years ago at a YMCA day camp program and it was one of the most interesting jobs I've ever had. Everyday, at least one crazy, unexpected thing happened. Every time I get together with these girls is an adventure: from summer camp to 80's prom to the time I knocked Liz's tooth out with my elbow at a concert (I still feel pretty horrible about that one).

Mini Terrarium (DIY)
Over the years, I've been lucky enough to work in a few different greenhouses.
Spending my day in the fresh, calming atmosphere was so revitalizing, like a private little place just for me. These mini terrariums are 1.2" to 1.6", the perfect size to add to your own doll sized greenhouse.

Cute as a Button
These barrettes were handmade today especially for Bridget (because she is growing out her bangs). The cheerful little buttons were rescued from thrift stores, and the tag was once part of a children’s board game. They are easy to make with just a little glue and some hair pins from the craft store!
