100th Post ~ Gator Clip Give Away

This is a very special day for Shades of Tangerine: the 100th post!

I started this blog on January 2nd as part of my New Year's Resolution to do more of what I love: making things!   My goal was to post at least five times a week.  To write five posts, I had no choice but to carve time into my busy schedule for creating five different things during the week.  At first, I struggled to come up with ideas to make and share.

Today, I have a dry erase board dedicated to containing my list of potential projects.  I truly love creating things, making tutorials and writing for this blog.

My first project, button barrette's for a co-worker's daughter

In the past four months, Shades of Tangerine had over 17,000 views, has been featured on eight awesome blogs and has so many wonderful readers full of great ideas and feedback! Thank you!  I'm going to celebrate by having a give a way!

The grand prize is......*drum roll please*.... Gator Clips!  Yup, handmade, up-cycled and a little silly (just like the majority of things I write about). Two gator clips, constructed by me from clothespins and wood pieces, then lovingly painted.

"What would I do with them?" you ask.  Well, the possibilities are endless: chip clip (or whatever snack you have on hand), tie clip, money clip, clip to keep you gloves together....

Here's how to win this incredible set of gator clips:
1.  Like Shades of Tangerine on Facebook
2.  Leave a comment on the Gator Clip photo telling what you would use them for if you won (Yes, I realize that your head might have been immediately filled with hilarious, inappropriate uses, but please keep it family friendly)

I'll randomly choose a winner (using the number generator at random.org) on May 30th.  The winner will be announced here and contacted via Facebook.
Good luck!
