Happy Valentines Day!
Did you ever read any of the American Girl books when you were little? My favorite stories were about Samantha, a wealthy little girl growing up in 1904. She collected ribbons, lace, and scraps of pretty paper to make lovely cards and packages like this one.
I recycled a paper grocery bag and a few paper doilies to wrap this gift.
You will need:
brown paper bag (or kraft paper)
paper doilies
glue stick
ribbon
scissors
Wrap your package in brown paper, and then cut hearts from the paper doilies.
Use the glue stick to attach them to your package. If you want to glue a heart on the edge, fold it first to create a crease, then glue it in place to prevent it from coming unstuck.
Add a beautiful bow and deliver to your special valentine!
